Built for Real Life

Not theory. Not biohacking. A system designed under pressure, for people who operate under pressure.

Why This Exists

Josh DeLucia, founder of Elevare Performance

I'm Josh DeLucia. I built Elevare Performance. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology — the science of how the body moves and adapts — but this system came from living it, not from a lecture hall.

Every system I tried collapsed within three weeks. Not because I lacked discipline — because I was managing three parallel pressures: a demanding career, family responsibilities, and a handful of prescriptions that affect everything — sleep, energy, recovery, and how supplements even work.

I tried every system that promised results. Biohacking protocols. Coaching programs. Supplement stacks designed by PhDs. Fitness plans written by competition athletes. Meditation apps. Wearable gadgets. All of them worked for 2-3 weeks. Then real life happened — a work crisis, a family emergency, a medication change — and the entire system collapsed.

The problem wasn't me. It was that the systems I tried assumed near-perfect conditions. They worked on weeks when you controlled your schedule, when stress was manageable, when you could sleep 8 hours, when you had time to prepare meals. They fell apart the moment reality changed.

And few of them accounted for medications at all. In my own experience, the prescriptions I take are tangled up with everything else: energy through the day, how I sleep, when supplements fit, how I handle caffeine and stress. I'm not a clinician and I won't pretend the biology is simple — but every system I tried either ignored that reality completely or treated it as a minor detail.

So I built something different. Not a rejection of the research — a translation of it into something that survives a real week, with a real job, a family, and real prescriptions in the mix.

This system has three modes. It doesn't break when things get hard. It adapts. And it starts from the reality of your prescriptions, not from the fantasy of an unmedicated ideal performer.

That's what this is.

What We Believe

Systems over Discipline

Discipline is a finite resource. Systems are infrastructure. We build infrastructure that doesn't require discipline to function.

Flexible, Not Fragile

A good system has three modes: full day, compressed day, minimum effective day. If it only works on perfect days, it doesn't work.

Medication-Aware by Design

Your prescriptions are part of your real life, not a footnote. A plan that pretends they aren't is working with half the picture — so this one names them and routes the specifics to your pharmacist.

Fix the Constraint, Not Everything

You don't need to optimize 8 pillars simultaneously. Often one constraint is creating most of the friction — find that first and fix it before the rest.

The 8 Pillars

Every aspect of your performance connects to every other. The Operator Score gives you a read on all 8. The Baseline maps how they interact and which one to work on first.

Training

Adapts to energy and recovery

Nutrition

Built around real schedules

Recovery

Sleep and downtime that actually restore

Supplements

Structured, not random

Medication Integration

Works with your prescriptions

Stress

Adjusts when pressure increases

Routines

Full, compressed, and minimum modes

Energy

The output the other seven produce

See Where You Stand

The Operator Score takes 3 minutes. It won't tell you what you want to hear. It'll tell you what you need to know.
